(2018) GIRE has prepared this alternative report with the goal of examining Mexico’s 9th periodic report, during the 70th Session of the Committee of the Convention to Eliminate All Forms of Discrimination against Women. It addresses, among other topics, legal and safe abortion and women’s labor rights.

It addresses the situation of healthcare institutions that, due to a lack of personnel and resources to provide adequate care for people with disabilities, engage in discriminatory practices.
